1.) October 20: Investing for Older Americans

Many older adults have made the bulk of their investment decisions by the time they retire – including whether and how much to save, whether to participate in an employer’s 401(k), and how to roll over and invest retirement funds. But some are still moving money around in the markets and considering new or different investments. All pyramid schemes eventually collapse, and most investors lose their money. Learn the hallmarks of a pyramid scheme. When fraudsters attempt to make money solely by recruiting new participants into a program, that is a pyramid scheme, and there is only one possible mathematical result – collapse. Speaker: Barry E. 4.) November 10: Protect Yourself from Investment Scams
