Put a Song in Your Heart With a Broadway Show

If you’re a Broadway musical fan, check out the hot lineup of affordable theater shows across Long Island this fall.

AARP members and their guests can purchase tickets at 20 percent off for select performances of more than a dozen popular shows and musicals over the next couple of months.

Upcoming performances include Jekyll & Hyde and Legally Blonde, at the Cultural Arts Playhouse, 170 Michael Drive in Syosset; Swing! and Ghost, at the CM Performing Arts Center, 931 Montauk Highway in Oakdale; The Full Monty, at the Argyle Theatre, 34 W. Main St. in Babylon; and Sunset Boulevard, at the John W. Engeman Theater, 250 Main St. in Northport.

The musicals are part of a wide-ranging program of cultural and artistic performances, concerts, entertainment and other special events available to local AARP members at a discount, said Bernard Macias, AARP New York associate state director for Long Island.

“Expect to be surprised and delighted,” Macias said.
