Free Screening: 'Theory of Everything'

Theory of Everything

In its first Movies for Grownups screening, AARP New Jersey is showing The Theory of Everything Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the historic Newark Museum. The film tells the story of renowned physicist Stephen Hawking and his then-wife Jane as they dealt with his debilitating illness.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, and attendees will get a card explaining a new state law that helps family caregivers when a loved one comes home from a hospital stay. New Jersey is home to 1.1 million caregivers who provide $13.6 billion worth of unpaid care yearly to adult loved ones. AARP will also introduce moviegoers to Life Reimagined, a program that helps people explore possibilities and tackle transitions with confidence.

The movie is free, but registration is required. To RSVP, call 844-418-2281 toll-free.
