2014 Combined Women's and Leadership Conference 

RALEIGH -- Shaw University Divinity School will host its Combined Women and Leadership conferences: " Resurrecting the Dream: Leadership and Generosity - How Jesus Upsets the Status Quo," for women, girls, men, and boys.

Explore questions of inclusion and generosity,  examine how being exclusive has been or not been beneficial to the church, particularly  in light of the Great commission (Matthew 28:16·20). Conversations and plenaries  explore stewardship, biblical wisdom , impact  of finance on relationships, intergenerational communication and self-esteem,  and the incredible leadership reflected in the life and ministry of Jesus.

  • DATE:  Saturday, October 18, 2014
  • TIME:  8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
  • LOCATION: North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE)700 South Salisbury Street  | Raleigh, NC 27601
  • COST: The conference is free to Shaw faculty, staff and students with ID. For the public: $25 adults; $20 non-Shaw students; $15 – ages 13-17; $10- ages 5-12. Lunch is provided.
