AARP Eye Center
AARP is asking caregivers across the state to weigh in on what services could help them most. Answers will be collected and shared with policymakers to help meet the needs of Ohio families and reduce the costs of long-term care.
At any given time, about 1.7 million Ohioans are serving as family caregivers, providing services valued at $17.5 billion annually. Supportive services for caregivers could result in more Ohioans continuing to live at home rather than moving into institutional care, which usually is more expensive for families and the state.
