More than 1.8 million Pennsylvanians are caring for frail family members, and as the population ages, even more Keystone Staters are likely to find themselves in that role.
AARP Pennsylvania is sponsoring a free event April 29 in Allentown to inform caregivers about local resources and raise public awareness of caregivers’ needs. The program kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Kasych Family Pavilion on the Cedar Crest Campus of the Lehigh Valley Health Network. The featured speaker will be AARP family and aging expert Amy Goyer, author of the practical guide Juggling Work and Caregiving.
