The right to drive should be based on ability and not age, state lawmakers, AARP Illinois and older adults said at a press conference Tuesday.
A new report from AARP shows that Illinois family caregivers are in crisis. The Family Caregiver Tax Credit and IL Caregiver Assistance and Resource Portal Act will save caregivers time and money.
The state’s 1.3 million family caregivers are in crisis, spending time and money they don’t have to take care of their loved ones, while feeling lost and overwhelmed trying to find reliable resources and information, state lawmakers and AARP Illinois said at a press conference Wednesday.
