Caregivers are encouraged to take part in AARP Wyoming’s popular series, Care for Caregivers, on Mondays in March. The weekly series, which explores self-care topics for caregivers, will be held at the Laramie County Public Library, 2200 Pioneer Avenue, in Cheyenne.
Bruce Duyncan of Tyler is the 2025 AARP Texas Andrus Award recipient for his many years of volunteerism as a counselor to people with drug and substance abuse issues.
Five Texas state senators and four state representatives are named by AARP Texas as 2025 legislative champions, following a legislative year in which older Texans and their families achieved significant wins on policies related to fraud fighting, healthcare cost savings, consumer protections and more.
In 2025, both Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) and Arizona Public Service Company (APS) filed new rate cases with the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC). These filings mark the beginning of a process that will directly impact what Arizonans pay for electricity in the coming years.
The Arizona Corporation Commission has set formal sessions to receive comment from the public on both the APS and TEP rate cases.
