This annual observance is a time to recognize and honor the rich histories, vibrant cultures, and countless contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities whose roots trace back to Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Throughout the month, AARP Texas will host a dynamic lineup of events and activities across the state—highlighting the diversity, resilience, and cultural pride that shape our Hispanic heritage here in Texas.

This fall, join AARP Long Island (New York) in recognizing National Family Caregivers Month and National Veterans & Military Families Month with free events across November through December.

On Monday, AARP Florida staff and volunteers brought a powerful message to the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC): Florida’s older residents, families, and those living on fixed incomes can’t afford another costly utility rate increase.
