Community groups across the state are invited to schedule an AARP speaker to explain what the Affordable Care Act means for state residents who are uninsured, enrolled in Medicare or have other insurance.

“There is a lot of confusion surrounding the Affordable Care Act and what it means to AARP members and their families,” said Kelly Clark, AARP state director.

Participants at the presentations can learn about the state’s health insurance marketplace and tax credits that might lower the cost of coverage. Open enrollment in such plans began Oct. 1.

To request a presentation, email nh@aarp.org.
