Wabasha-Kellogg is enrolled in the AARP Network of Age-Friendly Communities, and the local committee is in the assessment phase, collecting feedback from residents like you. Community feedback will help them prioritize opportunities to support their goal of making their community a great place to live, work, and play through all life stages. AARP Ohio released a statewide election survey that shows who leads in presidential and senate races in the state, as well as the top-of-mind issues for Ohio voters age 50-plus.

Join AARP NH and the Manchester Historic Society on August 24 (9-10:30 am) for a free, guided historic walking tour through downtown Manchester. The walking tour portion is about 2 miles long and will focus on Queen City’s rich history.

Denver, Colo.— AARP announced seven organizations throughout Colorado will receive 2024 Community Challenge grants – part of AARP’s largest investment in communities to date with $3.8 million awarded among 343 organizations nationwide. Grantees will implement quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places; transportation; housing; digital connections; and more, with an emphasis on the needs of adults ages 50 and older.
