AARP members seeking activities outside their usual comfort zone might enjoy a llama-assisted packing expedition in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. While trekking, they can decide what they want from the next chapter of their lives.

Cosponsored by AARP Wyoming and the National Outdoor Leadership School, the expedition is part of AARP Life Reimagined. The adventurers will be challenged to envision big-picture goals and think about how to steer their lives in those directions. At the same time, they will climb a mountain, try their hand at backcountry fly-fishing and learn how to sleep in grizzly bear habitat.

The event runs Aug. 9-15, 2015, and the cost for AARP members is $2,200. The registration deadline is March 30. To register, call 877-926-8300 toll-free and use code NOLSAARP815.
