Friday nights are AARP nights at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery. The theater offers AARP members a 15 percent discount on tickets to Friday performances from Jan. 23 through July 17.

The 2014-15 season includes two plays by the Bard— King Lear and As You Like It—as well as classic and contemporary works such as The Importance of Being Earnest, Alice in Wonderland and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
