AARP Eye Center
Hundreds of AARP members and guests in the Sioux Falls area are already looking forward to this year’s Holiday Jam with the Hegg Brothers on Dec. 17.
The concert will feature the popular band, led by brothers Jeremy and Jon Hegg, known for its lush and rhythmic horn-band sound. Expect seasonal classics and some contemporary arrangements.
A dessert reception for AARP members and guests will be held before the performance.
“It has really become one of our premier events of the year,” said Leah Ganschow, AARP associate state director. “It’s a great way to finish the year, get people’s feedback and see how we can better connect with them in 2017.”
The reception also will be an opportunity to meet local AARP staff. Four of the five AARP team members have been on the job for about a year or less.
The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Both events will be at the Washington Pavilion, 301 S. Main Ave., in downtown Sioux Falls. Tickets for the concert plus AARP reception and coat-check service are $15 each.
Until Dec. 5, members and guests can contact the Washington Pavilion at washingtonpavilion.org or call 605-367-6000. Use the promotion code JAM16.
Tickets also are being sold to the general public, so seating is limited. —Rob Swenson
