AARP is partnering with Dallas-based nonprofit Better Block Foundation to offer online blueprints for public structures specifically designed for older adults.
Better Block’s Wikiblock library is an open-source collection of free plans for projects such as benches, ramps, planters and awnings. Most items can be fitted together without glue or nails and used immediately.
AARP Texas is working with Better Block to create plans for a specific line of structures for older adults. Go to betterblock.org and click on Wikiblock for more.
