Filling Texas Food Banks while fighting COVID-19

To say the pandemic changed our lives is a major understatement. Many lost their jobs and that is causing major hardships. Paying utilities and even buying food has become concerning to a lot of Texans including the most vulnerable populations. In response, AARP Texas has donated nearly $18,000 to support food banks across the Lone Star State.

Some of those funds went to the Houston and San Antonio Food Banks. During the AARP Texas Prepare to Care Podcast, Brian Greene, President, and CEO of the Houston Food Bank and Eric Cooper, President and CEO of the San Antonio Food Bank spoke to host Eddie Orum about the need for food and donations, where donations will go and who can access this service.
