AARP Virginia has canceled the 97th District candidate forum that was set to take place between Delegate Michael Feggans and former delegate Tim Anderson on Tuesday, September 23, at the Kempsville Area Library in Virginia Beach.
Culpeper, Virginia – Join AARP Virginia and Aging Together on Oct. 10 for the region’s only expo focusing on healthy aging in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties. The Expo will offer resources for people who are 50-plus, family caregivers and people of all ages who are thinking about aging well. Over 50 exhibitors are participating, all for free!

AARP Blacksb urg chapter and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) will conduct the 2016 Health and Wellness Fair on September 14th at the Christiansburg Recreation Center. You are invited to join the approximately 100 exhibitors and 500+ citizens expected to participate. This event will focus on citizen participation and healthy living. Successful aging is not just about medical conditions and their management, but about living a full and engaged life and how a community makes that possible.
