AARP Virginia has canceled the 97th District candidate forum that was set to take place between Delegate Michael Feggans and former delegate Tim Anderson on Tuesday, September 23, at the Kempsville Area Library in Virginia Beach.

AARP Virginia to Host Dinner Group in Midlothian
A growing number of workers in Virginia face the demand and challenges that often are associated with providing care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory problems.
RICHMOND — AARP will sponsor the first Governor’s Conference on Aging in 13 years to identify ways to enhance the health and well-being of Virginians as they age. The Virginia Department for the Aging and Rehabilitative Services will convene the meeting in Richmond May 2-3.
The Encore Chorales of Alexandria, Langston Brown, and Goodwin House-Bailey’s Crossroads will combine to present a Spring Choral Concert, “With a Song in My Heart,” on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 3:00pm at Yorktown High School located at 5200 Yorktown Boulevard in Arlington, VA. The concert is free and open to the public. Doors open at 2:30pm and seating is on a first come basis.
The Encore Chorales of Reston, Lansdowne Woods and the GMU Potomac Arts Academy will combine to present a Spring Choral Concert, “With a Song in My Heart,” on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 7:30 pm at the United Christian Parish located at 11508 North Shore Drive in Reston. The concert is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7:00pm and seating is on a first come basis.
