Virginia Volunteers Honored for Community Service
VIRGIL COOK WITH DISTINGUISHED ANDRUS AWARD FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE
AARP Virginia has presented Carol Downs of Alexandria with the revered Gordon Morton Award for Volunteer Service.
AARP Virginia is inviting volunteers from across Fredericksburg and surrounding areas to help spread the holiday spirit by visiting those who might not be able to celebrate. Throughout the holiday season, The Holiday Project organizes visits to people in nursing homes, hospitals and other facilities across Fredericksburg. Volunteers can join an existing visit team, start their own visit team, or register to participate as a group!
