Pinkston to advise AARP on efforts to make California more livable for all ages

AARP California’s new podcast, which airs topics vital to older adults and state residents of all ages, has two compelling presentations on tap for March.

Women's History Month is underway, and we're excited to celebrate the ground-breaking contributions of amazing women to communities nationwide. Originating as Women's History Week in 1981, March was officially dedicated to honoring women's achievements in 1987. And AARP joins in the nation in celebrating women for their leadership, mentoring, and dedication to their communities in ways that have changed the course of history.

Join AARP California as we celebrate local black leaders in California and see how they’ve made a difference in their communities. Gloria Brown is one of the founders of the Bay Area Community Health Advisory Council which works to eliminate disparities through innovative models of self-education and service. She has also worked with the San Mateo Police department to create an Alzheimer’s training program for officers.
