AARP Pennsylvania thanks Governor Shapiro for honoring the 1.5 million Pennsylvanians providing unpaid care to loved ones. These caregivers are everyday heroes, and AARP is fighting for policies to better support them.

As part of the newly updated 2024 AARP Livability Index™ website, AARP announced Nebraska’s capital city, Lincoln, secured an impressive score, ranking 9th place on the Top 10 Livability Index for U.S. Large Communities (population 100,000-499,999) — moving up from 2023’s 11th place.

The AARP Smart Driver Course is a driving refresher course that features research-based curriculum. The six-hour course is now the nation’s largest driving refresher course designed for drivers age 50.
