In honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month, we are highlighting three invaluable resources that AARP provides to veterans and their families year-round – available to both members and non-members alike.

Jibben leads AARP Wyoming’s Cheyenne Community Action Team, a group of around 20, who meet monthly to develop and hold AARP Community events. Those events can be community service-related or just for fun or socialization.

Jacobsen is the General Manager at Frontier Mall and Frontier Square in Cheyenne. Last year AARP Wyoming started an early morning walking group that meets at Frontier Mall each week.
Swaim is a Certified Fraud Examiner with a background in the legal field and as a fraud investigations and prevention leader in the financial services industry. Passionate about consumer education and victim advocacy, Swaim writes and speaks on social engineering, data privacy, scams and fraud prevention, and trends in bank fraud.
AARP DC is working to ensure voters are prepared to vote and informed of where the candidates for DC Council stand on issues of importance.
The series is called, “Empowering Your Caregiving Journey,” and is free to the public. Each Monday session starts with a free dinner, a short testimonial from a current or former caregiver before a presentation by a subject matter expert takes the stage.
