AARP Puerto Rico abrió la convocatoria de propuestas de fondos dirigidos al desarrollo de proyectos comunitarios locales bajo el programa AARP Community Challenge 2025. Esta iniciativa concede fondos para proyectos de acción rápida que fortalezcan la calidad de vida en las comunidades a través de espacios públicos, transportación y vivienda, la labor cívica y voluntaria, conexiones digitales y el empoderamiento comunitario. Esta es la 9na edición de este programa para promover Comunidades Habitables de AARP, que promueve el desarrollo de entornos amigables para todos, especialmente para la creciente población mayor. La fecha límite para someter propuestas es el miércoles, 5 de marzo de 2025.
