AARP Connecticut hosted a live Telephone Town Hall with guests Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut and AARP Legislative Counsel David Certner on Monday, June 26, 2017. The informative and interactive discussion, moderated by AARP Connecticut State Director Nora Duncan, focused on the impact that policy changes will have on the new healthcare bill in the Senate and included topics such as the potential cuts to Medicaid, effects on Connecticut seniors, and the senator's plan to help caregivers.

With the fourth Friday free offer, AARP members can enjoy free admission to Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo on the fourth Friday of each month from June to September. Join us for a Disrupt Aging conversation across professions, perspectives and generations hosted by the Jewish Federation of Western Connecticut on Thursday, May 18, at 4:30 pm. This intergenerational workshop is designed to foster conversations among people of all ages, including professionals, community collaborators and consumers who are passionate about aging issues.
