On December 15 th, as a proud sponsor, AARP Idaho will help place wreaths on Veteran’s headstones as part of the Wreaths Across America Day event in Idaho.
We recently held a statewide telephone town hall with Governor-elect Brad Little. Dozens of callers from across the Gem State had questions regarding Medicaid expansion, climate change, minimum wage, education and more. You can listen to the full conversation HERE.
Select AARP members and nonmembers are invited to a free screening of Mission: Impossible - Fallout. AARP Idaho will host the showings in Ammon and Coeur d'Alene on December 13 at 6:00 pm.
AARP members and guests are invited to participate in a telephone town hall meeting with Governor-elect Brad Little. AARP Idaho state director Lupe Wissel will moderate the call and take questions from the audience regarding recent election results, the upcoming 2019 Idaho Legislative session, health care and several other issues important to the 50+ in Idaho.
Volunteers are needed to wrap Christmas gifts for military veterans at the Idaho State Veterans Home on Saturday, November 17th. Volunteers do not need to bring anything other than their enthusiasm. Gifts, wrapping materials, and refreshments will be provided.
