Findings underscore urgent need for financial transparency and swift passage of S1948/A1872
New Brunswick, NJ – Ann Lippel has been selected by AARP, the nonprofit organization for people 50 and older, to receive the 2025 AARP New Jersey Andrus Award for Community Service, the Association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service.
AARP is fighting to make prescription drugs more affordable for New Jerseyans and all Americans. On March 12 th AARP launched the Stop Rx Greed campaign, a nationwide effort aimed at lowering prescription drug prices. It is unfair that Americans pay the highest prescription drug prices in the world. AARP is calling on the President, Congress and the NJ Legislature to cut drug prices now.

This is partly due to shifting demographics, such as a rapidly aging population and shrinking household sizes, and partly due to the growing demand for walkable living.
