November is Family Caregiving Month and Military Family Month. As a family caregiver, you may be responsible for managing and administering lots of medication. If you have medications in your home that are no longer needed or expired, AARP Long Island encourages you to dispose of them safely this November.

Explore three incredible floors featuring original costumes, props, and immersive set recreations that will transport you through the history of Broadway, starting from its very first documented performance in 1732.
Ten entities in New York won AARP Community Challenge grants, totaling $96,000. The grants are part of AARP’s Livable Communities initiative; they fund quick-turnaround projects aimed at making areas more livable for people of all ages.
