Experience the Thrill: Musical Hits and Laser Light Shows

AARP Long Island is thrilled to sponsor and connect with AARP members and guests at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum and Reichert Planetarium in Centerport, at Music Laser Light shows! Music lovers can enjoy these immersive visual shows that are projected overhead on a 60-foot dome.

Find our AARP volunteers and staff at select performances! Come by the AARP table in the lobby before, during or after each show and meet us to learn more about what AARP is doing in the local community. Learn about the AARP local resources, AARP HomeFit, AARP Fraud Watch Network, contests, giveaways and much more!

1. May 24, 2024 – June 28, 2024: Laser Depeche Mode

One of the most popular and creative bands of the 1980s and early 90s, Depeche Mode and their dark, synthesized music is realized in one of the finest laser tributes ever. Songs include Enjoy the Silence, Blasphemous Rumors, Never Let Me Down, People Are People, Strangelove and many more.

2. May 25, 2024 – June 29, 2024: Laser Rocket Man

3. July 5 – August 10: Sgt Pepper’s Laser Light Show

Sgt. Pepper's Laser Light Show is a magical way to experience the influential concept album from The Beatles. Combining laser technology with the Beatles’ groundbreaking album results in a laser show that resurrects the spirit of the late 60s, and adds a modern twist.  Songs include With a Little Help from My Friends, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, When I'm 64, Lovely Rita, Sgt. Indeed, they have been hailed as one of the most successful, innovative, and influential bands, alongside Pink Floyd, U2 and the Beatles.
