From July 26 th through August 6 th, nearly 170 volunteers from around Ohio traveled to the 2017 Ohio State Fair in Columbus to staff the AARP booth. We couldn’t have asked for a more energized and enthusiastic team of Buckeyes to interact with fair goers about issues that impact all Ohioans.

Making sure your car is set up properly for you and shredding confidential documents you no longer need are great ways to protect yourself, both on the road and from fraud. Join AARP Ohio, the Akron Police Department, WAKR, WONE, and WZMX for our car safety, document shredding, and electronic device disposal event.

Shredding confidential documents you no longer need is a good way to protect your identity. Join AARP at the Fall Fraud Watch Festival where you can bring 4-5 boxes or bags of personal or household documents for onsite shredding!
