Frank Abagnale, a security consultant to the FBI for more than four decades, is also the ambassador for AARP Fraud Watch Network. AARP Oklahoma is bringing Abagnale to Tulsa Aug. 31 to talk about how to avoid identity theft.

The AARP Fraud Watch Network is educating Oklahomans throughout the state about how they can protect themselves and their families from frauds and scams. The Oklahoma legislature is currently considering House Bill 2482 by Representative Pat Ownbey and Senator Frank Simpson that would update state law, creating a nurse licensure compact, to allow nurses to care across state lines. This no-cost, commonsense solution would create opportunities for nurses with licenses in neighboring states to practice in Oklahoma.
