En español | Election Day is around the corner and AARP California is here to connect you to resources about when, where, and how to vote. AARP is actively informing voters about changes to elections, key dates, and other crucial information that all voters should know.

Medicare beneficiaries can expect changes next year when key provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act take effect and AARP Hawai`i and the State of Hawai`i Health Insurance Assistance Program have planned a series of workshops to help people review their benefits and choose appropriate plans during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7.
Those wishing to take part in the conversation at AARP Wyoming offices in Cheyenne are welcome to do so by coming to the third floor of the First Tier Bank Building in Cheyenne, located at 1800 Carey Avenue. This is open to the public and there is no need to be age 50 or an AARP Wyoming member to attend.
Crist only recently started volunteering with the Sheridan Action Team, a group of 20 who take on service or fun events for older adults in Sheridan such as ice cream socials, paper shredding events, and a veterans golf tournament.
Jibben leads AARP Wyoming’s Cheyenne Community Action Team, a group of around 20, who meet monthly to develop and hold AARP Community events. Those events can be community service-related or just for fun or socialization.
No matter where you are in the caregiver journey, these local agencies and organizations can help make the process easier.
Jacobsen is the General Manager at Frontier Mall and Frontier Square in Cheyenne. Last year AARP Wyoming started an early morning walking group that meets at Frontier Mall each week.
