Join us for a historical walking tour of Manchester’s Valley Cemetery on October 30 (12-2 pm). Bounded by Willow, Valley, Pine and Auburn Streets, the Cemetery occupies 20 acres one block southeast of the SNHU Arena. City records indicate that the Valley Cemetery land was donated to the City by Amoskeag Manufacturing Corporation in 1841 to meet the needs of Manchester’s growing population, the cemetery was laid out in the style of a garden cemetery, carefully landscaped to blend the beauty of nature with the beauty of art.
