Saving for the future is a vital part of ensuring a secure retirement. American Savings Education Council and America Saves coordinate the annual America Saves Week. Started in 2007, the week is an annual opportunity for organizations to promote good savings behavior and a chance for individuals to assess their own saving status.

With the tax filing deadline looming, AARP Legal Counsel for the Elderly (LCE) is reminding district residents they may be eligible for a tax credit of up to $1,000 to help with housing costs.

That’s why AARP Arizona is sponsoring Fraud Watch Network sessions on March 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the Southeast Regional Library in Gilbert, and March 27, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at R.H. Johnson Recreation Center in Sun City West.
