AARP FOUNDATION TAX-AIDE VOLUNTEERS IN KANSAS WILL PROVIDE FREE TAX ASSISTANCE AND PREPARATION THROUGH APRIL 18--FIND A LOCATION NEAR YOU
CHICAGO– Beginning today through April 18, AARP Foundation is providing free tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in its 49th year, is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service, offering free tax preparation help to anyone, especially those who are 50 and older, who cannot afford a tax preparation service.
From Feb. 1 through April 18, AARP Foundation provides free tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program. All tax counselors are volunteers that are trained by the IRS to provide free tax preparation services. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone, especially if you’re 50 and older, and can’t afford a tax preparation service. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide understands that retirement or other life changes may mean your taxes are a little more complicated now. Last year, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers helped more than 19,440 people file their federal and state tax returns.
Volunteers are the face of AARP in the community. AARP Mississippi is honored to have so many talented and skilled individuals who have expressed an interest in giving back to their communities. We are preparing volunteers and equipping them with the tools they need to volunteer locally.
