Participants will meet with local officials, learn from experts, attend workshops, visit sponsor and vendor tables, and network with others from across the region and the Commonwealth. They can bring up to 3 bags of documents for shredding to the Robinson Street Parking Lot before you take our shuttle to check in for Senior Safety Day. This is a conference for seniors on safety. First Baptist Church opens at 8:30am.

The first meeting of the Wyoming Retirement Security Task Force will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 21 in the State AARP offices at 2020 Carey Ave, Mezzanine Level. The committee will meet three or four times over the interim and their meetings are open to the public.
In a joint AARP-POLITICO poll released today, Florida voters age 50 and over do not feel better off financially despite a growing economy. The poll also found that Social Security and health care will be very important to 50-plus voters when they cast ballots for Congress in the mid-term elections, and they are deeply concerned about the future of Medicare.
