Many communities today lack attainable and equitable housing options necessary to meet people’s preferences, changing demographics and economic realities. AARP is fighting to change that for everyone, regardless of age, in Louisville.
This lively USVI carnival is both the celebration of Emancipation Day (which marks the end of slavery in the Virgin Islands on July 3, 1848), as well as the founding of the United States on July 4, 1776. AARP VI is looking forward to joining the celebration!

Each session offers practical tips, engaging discussions, and expert guidance to help you take charge of your health.

Governor Healey signed the 2026 Massachusetts budget into law on the 4th of July. The budget invests in older residents and supports the Commonwealth’s 780,000 family caregivers allowing people to age with dignity in their own homes and communities-where they want to. The governor did veto a key proposal that would set up a plan that allows more people to save for retirement.
