AARP Wyoming is now accepting applications for the 2019 Community Challenge grant program to fund “quick-action” projects that spark change in local communities.The grant program, which is now in its third year, is part of AARP’s nationwide Livable Communities initiative, which aims to make communities great places to live for everyone.
AARP Community Challenge Grants Are Back in 2019
Today, AARP District of Columbia State Director Louis Davis, Jr. announced the selection of Reverend Doctor Kendrick E. Curry as the new volunteer State President of the local non-profit organization, with more than 87,000 members in the District.
Now in its fourth year, New Knowledge Adventures (NKA) is a lifelong continuing education program for older adults designed to offer exceptional learning, exploration and fellowship opportunities in a comfortable and non-competitive academic surrounding. It's a great way to learn something new and make friends along they way.

AARP is committed to fighting for the 50+ Marylanders throughout the state and ensuring that their voices are heard. During our time in Annapolis, we attend delegation meetings, which take place every Friday during the legislative session, and chat with lawmakers to make direct contact with delegates and local leaders from every county. We will update this page after every Delegation Friday to provide you with up-to-date information on our advocacy efforts.
Sheridan-area residents donated nearly 750 pounds of food to two Sheridan County food banks during the sixth annual Souper Bowl, a food drive led by AARP Wyoming’s Sheridan Community Action Team.
