AARP Massachusetts offers tabling opportunities at community events to share resources, engage attendees, and promote advocacy, volunteering, and healthy aging.
The award is named after AARP Founder Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus and goes to the state’s top volunteer over the age of 50. The finalists include Charlie Simineo and Tim Sheppard of Cheyenne, and Sheridan’s Carla Crayton.
Every tax season, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers serve their communities by helping their neighbors complete and file their tax returns. Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped over 82 million taxpayers.
A non-practicing physician with a passion for health education and community service, AARP Pennsylvania volunteer Myra Piña brings a global perspective and multilingual skills to her work.
