It’s been 55 years since Martin Luther King Jr. gave his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech, changing the course of civil rights in America. AARP South Carolina invites members to celebrate the MLK holiday weekend, Jan. 12-15, in Myrtle Beach.
Are you a breast cancer survivor who wants to become more physically active? AARP South Carolina is encouraging survivors to consider joining a research study, Moving Forward Together 3, to reap the benefits of a home-based walking program.

Join AARP SC for a Day at the State Fair on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. The AARP Pavilion will be located in Rosewoods. You'll find information from the AARP Fraud Watch Network, resources for caregivers, and the exciting Life Reimagined photo booth will capture your creativity. Several state agencies that provide resources to older adults will join us as well.
It's a lot of purple. It's AARP South Carolina's new way of sharing the message of Life Reimagined! This special wrapped car will ride the highways and back roads of South Carolina for the next few months sharing the message of Life Reimagined. Part of Life Reimiagined allows you to experience a "check up" and help you plan your "what's next" or discover your hidden talents and skills. For a class click here
