AARP Foundation Challenges Memphis to Pack 500,000 Meals for Hungry Seniors

AARP has partnered with the Jackson Generals baseball team to create a special offer for AARP members and their families! Come out to the ballpark and enjoy a great night of family-friendly fun with a special package for AARP members.

AARP Tennessee will host and co-host several free shredding events across the state in April. Every 2 seconds, someone's identity is stolen, and shredding sensitive documents is a great way to protect yourself against scammers.

AARP Tennessee and the Chattanooga Police Department will host a very special “Coloring with Cops” event on March 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EDT at the Northgate Mall in Chattanooga. This event will allow area children to meet local police officers.

Nashville is growing by about 100 people a day, increasing traffic congestion dramatically. That’s why AARP Tennessee is supporting a mass transit referendum on the May 1 ballot in Nashville.

Kingston’s Kathy Parks selected for AARP’s Most Prestigious Volunteer Award

You're invited to a FREE sneak preview screening of Ken Burns’ new documentary The Vietnam War. See the story of a landmark event in American history as it has never been told before. This exclusive screening will take place on Wed., September 13 at the Old Glory Distilling Company in Clarksville and is limited to the first 250 people who register online. Complimentary food and beverages will be served and adult beverages will be available for purchase. A one-hour preview will be followed by a special panel to discuss the film and personal experiences. Panelists include Bill Robinson, longest held captive of Vietnam War for seven and a half years and Cindy Stonebreaker, daughter of Missing in Action Aviation pilot and Ernesto Rodriguez, Former Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army, 101st Sustainment Brigade. This event is part of the week-long Welcome Home postcard veterans of our veterans in Clarksville on Sept. 13-16, 2017.
