AARP Utah is coming to Ogden in August with two great events for our members and their guests to enjoy. On Monday, August 15 join us for Pirated! brought to you by the Good Company Theatre. Show time is 8:00pm at the Ogden Amphitheater. To summarize the plot: Sound in motion pictures has only just come into vogue in the 1930s, and a new production of The Pirates of Penzance is caught in the silent era. To compensate, the director hires a group of talented singers to dub over his silent-era actors' lack of vocal talent. The entire shoot goes haywire when the two groups clash and the director loses control. Members and their guests can use the code PLAY16 when purchasing tickets online at goodcotheatre.com. Pay $10 for tickets instead of the regular admission price of $20.
