The hearing for the Guardianship Reform Bill presented by AARP is set for hearing on May 24th in the Virgin Islands Legislature. For the first time since AARP began publishing the Scorecard in 2011, more than half of Medicaid long-term care dollars nationwide for older adults and people with physical disabilities went to home- and community-based services instead of nursing homes and other institution.

Esta reunión es posterior a la primera en marzo de 2023, compuesta por un grupo de trabajo que incluyó agencias gubernamentales de las Islas Vírgenes de EE. UU., el sector privado y la comunidad en general.
