Walsh to receive the 2014 AARP Virginia Andrus Award for Community Service -- the association’s most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service. The organization honored several individuals, organizations and AARP chapters for volunteer work at its annual awards ceremony on Nov. 12.

Nearly half of family caregivers are being called on to perform medical or nursing tasks, often with little or no explanation or guidance. Are you a family caregiver?
