More and more Virginians are now faced with the possibility of running out of savings before they retire.
Nearly half of family caregivers are being called on to perform medical or nursing tasks, often with little or no explanation or guidance. Are you a family caregiver? Have you ever had a loved one come home from the hospital and no one showed you how to do the medical or nursing tasks that you were asked to perform? AARP Virginia wants to hear from you!
Virginians across the state -- or the world -- can watch U.S. Senator Mark Warner face his Republican challenger Ed Gillespie in the People's Debate tonight at 7 p.m.. Thanks to debate media partners WCVE-TV PBS and WTVR-TV CBS 6, the debate will be broadcast statewide on stations in every Virginia market.
RICHMOND _Virginia voters will have a chance to publicly ask candidates for Congress and U.S. Senate questions and the office-seekers will have the opportunity to answer those questions in a continuous open forum between now and Election Day.
