In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III, with sponsorship from AARP, is holding an Elder Abuse Prevention Conference — “A Focus on Avoiding Scams, Fraud, and Identity Theft” — on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in Fall River.
According to longevity expert Dr. Bill Thomas, our culture tells us that aging will change us against our will, and for the worse. Arguing that this is false, Dr. Thomas blends myth and science, live music and visuals, in his Age of Disruption Tour. Dr. Thomas says the tour is like "a modern day barnstorming in a rock n’ roll tour bus, bringing communities a new and highly disruptive understanding of aging."
