BILL STATUS UPDATE: House Bill 1087 passed the House on Feb. 21 (see AARP Statement) on a vote of 63-33. It passed the Senate on April 16 on a vote of 26-22 (see AARP Statement). The House concurred with Senate amendments on April 23, clearing the way for Governor Inslee's signature.

It passed the House Committee on Consumer Protection and Business on April 2; passed the House Appropriations Committee on April 8; and is now heading to a House floor vote.
BILL STATUS UPDATE: Senate Bill 5292 (see below) passed off the Senate floor unanimously on Feb. 28. It passed the House Committee on Health Care & Wellness on March 27, and was referred to the House Appropriations Committee.
