AARP Nebraska offers free fraud presentations to community groups year round and is now scheduling sessions for 2017. Trained volunteers are available to make AARP Fraud Watch Network presentations across the state. These sessions can help Nebraskans stay up to date on the latest scams, be safe online and take action if they spot fraud.
AARP Idaho invites members and their guests to connect with AARP staff, volunteers and one another when the Idaho Steelheads host the Rapid City Rush, on Saturday, Dec. 17. The hockey game begins at 7 p.m. at the CenturyLink Arena in Boise. The $16 discount tickets include a rinkside meal of hot dog, chips and soft drink.
The Main Stage Theatre at the Arvada Center in Arvada is offering discount admission for AARP members and their guests to enjoy a Dec. 10 matinee performance of I’ll Be Home for Christmas. The musical tells the story of a family preparing for a Christmas variety show when the oldest son returns home from the Vietnam War.
Food, fun and some scrappy hockey are in store for AARP New Hampshire members and their guests when the Manchester Monarchs take on the Reading Royals on Saturday, Nov. 19.
