Roosevelt signed it into law on August 14, 1935, Social Security has been a cornerstone of economic security - ensuring Washingtonians can retire with dignity, supporting people with disabilities, and providing vital income after the loss of a loved one.
AARP DC is incredibly proud to be a sponsor of Mosaic Theater Company’s 2025 Intergenerational Matinee Program. This program invites high school students and seniors to view a production and then hosts a post-show conversation with Mosaic’s artists and one another. AARP DC is giving away 32 free tickets to the June 12th performance of Andy Warhol in Iran!
