AARPCO’s The New 50+, “It’s a Mindset” is offering two different menus you can learn to prepare at Stir Cooking School in December and discover what the New 50+ is all about. We will discuss why healthy living is important for all ages. Classes will run 2 - 3 hours, and are a fun filled, hands-on experience. You will have the opportunity to work side by side with professional chefs while fully participating in everything being taught. Join AARP volunteers and other members at the the Arvada Center on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 7:30 p.m. performance, for Elf - The Musical. Arrive early for a special AARP Meet & Greet and learn more about what AARP is doing in your community.

Join AARP Colorado for NeighborWalks 2018. Enjoy guided walks through some of Denver's most beautiful and interesting neighborhoods. Come meet others in your community, learn the history and join the fun. Walks will be led by a local historian.

Join us on Saturdays in September for Downtown Walking Tours in collaboration with the Colorado Springs YMCA. Downtown Walking Tours* are hour-long guided tours introducing the historic landmarks, contemporary artwork, and cultural highlights of Downtown Colorado Springs. The walks are designed to be inclusive and are themed, educational, social events that can bring communities together in a healthy and fun environment.

A Little Help, along with wonderful sponsors, is proud to host the 2nd Annual Engaging in Aging. This event will be held on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 from 8:30am-12:30pm at the Lakewood Cultural Center (470 S. Allison Pkwy, Lakewood, 80226). The event will include information from c ommunity resources, workshops on various topics, a light breakfast and connections with your friends and neighbors.
