AARP wants to make sure nearly 650,000 family caregivers in the state are aware of a new law and how it affects them.
AARP Kentucky has teamed up with AARP Tennessee to cosponsor the third annual Welcome Home festival for veterans Sept. 13-16 in Clarksville, Tenn. The Volunteer State is home to more than 500,000 veterans, and Clarksville is home to Fort Campbell, one of the largest Army bases in the nation.

AARP Kentucky is hosting Grandparents and Family Day at two ballparks this spring. The Louisville Bats, a Cincinnati Reds’ farm team, will welcome AARP members and their guests as the team takes on the Gwinnett Braves on Wednesday, May 31, at 6:35 p.m.

The Country Music Hall of Fame inductee has endeared himself to music lovers around the world, and the show at Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts will be the last stop on his final world tour, The Gambler’s Last Deal.
When the General Assembly convenes Jan. 3, AARP advocates will be on the ground in Frankfort, pressing for legislation important to Kentuckians age 50-plus.

AARP will host a tele-town hall on brain health in five states, including Kentucky, on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 6:45 p.m. EDT. World-class experts on brain health will offer tips on managing stress, keeping fit, eating right and being a lifelong learner.
